The Burtle

We were so chuffed when Tom, assistant cheese maker at Burt's Cheese got in touch to say our very own dressed goat cheeses helped inspire him to create this entirely new cheese. He also took inspiration from Belper Knolle, a Swiss cheese created to use in the kitchen to grate over dishes, resembling a truffle aesthetically.

Garlic is added to the milk and the finished cheese is rolled in black peppercorns.
