Little Burtle

We were so chuffed when Tom, assistant cheese maker at Burts cheese got in touch to say our very own dressed goat cheeses formed part of his inspiration to create this entirely new cheese. He also took inspiration from Belper Knolle, a Swiss cheese created to use in the kitchen to grate over dishes, resembling a truffle aesthetically.

Garlic is added to the milk and the finished cheese is rolled in black peppercorns.

Grate or enjoy her on your board! *This cheese will develop natural safe edible moulds. You don't need to cut them off as you'll be losing cheese and flavour. Pasteurised cow’s milk. Animal rennet.
